  Is that a Dark Arts treatise? 鈥�, asked Harry.
  
  鈥淗ardly. It鈥檚 a Muggle novel鈥�.
  
  Harry was certain he heard the word 鈥榙underhead鈥� muttered under Snape鈥檚 breath.
  
  鈥淚t seems the Dark Lord was inspired by it; besides trying to ensure his own immortality, he tried to ensure his line by making certain donations to a Muggle fertility clinic in the region of Ambridge鈥�.
  
  鈥淵ou mean鈥�..鈥�
  
  鈥淵es, Potter. We must be on the look- out for any magical babe in the vicinity. There is still more 鈥� read on, Potter鈥�.
  
  Harry read on and on, until Snape coughed. 鈥淲ell, Potter, what do you make of it all?鈥�

Just recently, two Muggles met in a railway station and didn鈥檛 realise for one moment that they were acting out an entire scene from a well-known film鈥�.

  鈥淢uggles leave the village and come back with an entirely different character, sometimes as entirely different characters, and yet no one in Ambridge seems to notice. Things happen that would cause a lot of debate in most communities, but are totally accepted in Ambridge, and there are things which shouldn鈥檛 work at all and yet do 鈥� the whole set-up at Lower Loxley, that organic shop in Borchester, and those ready-meals 鈥� do you think some sort of potion could have been introduced into them, Snape?鈥�.
  
  鈥淒on鈥檛 worry, Potter, Tom Archer Ready Meals are 100% bull. But you are, however surprisingly right. Tell me what else you鈥檝e noticed鈥�

  鈥淧eople behave in the oddest ways. Elizabeth Pargetter believed her brother was responsible for her husband鈥檚 death, but forgave him over a cup of tea. Philippa Archer, after the usual teenage rebellion settled down to university, and is now behaving like a fourteen year old; Amy Franks鈥︹��

  鈥淲hat I don鈥檛 understand is how this relates to the disappearance we investigating鈥�
