are we still up for it, or has moving to this place exhausted us all so much we can't be bothered?
Hope not, as I have been looking forward to it, and am going to be hunting down the finest haberdashers in the south of the country to find a large mustard coloured rose to wear in my lapel. Failing that, I'll just carry a jar of colemans.

It's still going ahead Chalkface.
Due to happen on 12 November, mid-day meeting on something called the Bosporous Bridge (can't find it on my route-planner thingy so hoping I haven't got that too wrong).
If you can get to the lockin there is information about it on (I think) the second page back.

1st reply on new board. Just to remind you that some gogs like me would travel mid-Wales for a meet if you ever decide to go up north.
have a nice day.
Yes, all going ahead as planned.
The Bospherus bridge is not likely to appear on any map - the Bospherus is an eating place (recently featured in Dr Who so I'm told) and it's out on a sort of wharf/jetty so is approached by a bridge.
It is alongside Cadwallader's Ice Cream and the place where the water bus leaves for Penarth, should you need to ask directions.
I'd be up for a mid-Wales meet - perhaps we could all go kite feeding in Rhaeadr?! Gwen

Hi yellowdog
looks exactly like that place at the end of the last series of Dr Who - will there be slitheens there?
I've been told that Slitheens are repelled by the colour mustard, ermintrude, so we should be safe.
Siwd mae, Lili. Now that the Dr Who secret is revealed we may be inundated! If we have rain like yesterday's it may be a different kind of inundation and we'll be rowing out.
Been meaning to say - should we be looking at booking a table? Or indeed the whole place? Gwen

Helo Gwen,
I'm off to 'forrun parrts' early tomorrow morning, but the next time I'm in the Bay will be Oct 31st, so I'm thinking I'll provisionally book a table then, if that's OK with everyone.
There seems to be a set lunch thingy for £5.35, and another one for £8.95. I copied these down yesterday when I was researching the car parking for s/e.
Speak to you all again when I get back on Thursday.
Lili
