Dugnno where is best/least bad for posting this: a local hospice charity shop has for sale:-
.
.
. SHULA'S STORY
An everyday tale of how she got to where she is (many years ago when it was writ).
Comments welcome on the sanity of purchasing it. Bet it's purpler than the prose writ large on the edge of the poshest of posh togas just before Brianus Caesar's younger brother, Julius, asks someone looking daggers at him: 'Cor, you're wearing that aftershave as well, Brutus?'
Er, comments still welcome. Is it a) awful
b) REALLY awful
c) RILLY RILLY awful
d) life-changing in a positive way
e) what Greg would have wanted?

I bought this (in a charity shop) about four years ago, (is it the one by Joanna Toye?) much to the derision of family members. I read it in an afternoon, and didn't mind it- not great writing but very readable, and interesting for me as a new listener as it gave me loads of the back history. If it's cheap, buy it.
