I had a great time, it was really good to meet you all.
Thank you Marie for the Tea/Coffee facilities, very welcome, and appreciated.
I was surprised at how many people I recognised from photos that I had seen in the Lock in, Amy, Misty, Hebe, Mike, Rosie T, and Sheena, ooh and Annie MS, some of you did not look like I imagined you, but that is the wonder of Radio! and I will keep your 'voices' in my head.
Marms fitted my 'image' and is lovely, as you all are, but it is rood to pick out one person,
after I left...did I match the DM reader stereotype...
do not answer that!!!
Night, night.

We really enjoyed meeting you too Ell Kaye - sorry I didn't manage to talk to more people, but now that we know Cambridge is such a popular location for a meet, perhaps we can do it again sometime.
grrr! It sounds like i missed out on loads and loads yesterday! never mind, i think a cambridge meet is definitely worth repeating, annie! maybe one in the spring or summer when a picnic will be more viable?
I think I said hello very briefly to you, Ell Kaye, but I'm sorry not to have spoken to you more!

Stephen ~ hello! D'you mind if I ask how the audition/rehearsal went yesterday??
ooh hello! We're conversing in different threads!this was actually the first rehearsal, and it was good fun- i'm rather glad i'm not a principle now having seen the rehearsal schedule! It would appear that i am a pirate- we are so short of men (excluding principles, there were 5 of us!) that the gruffest members of the female chorus were recruited as pirates- however the MD seemed to completely forget about the policeman but said he'd find some somewhere! It was good fun- i'm now singing over the opening chorus and act 1 finale, having learnt them in the musical rehearsal, as our director has a "no scripts/scores on stage" policy for his rehearsals....
