Did nobody else have a strange moment when the media started talking about a dead parrot. OK avian flu is no joke but this seemed rather surreal to me.
THEN we have a parrot flying about Grey Gables, do they need to cull it now just in case?
Yes; confess that my first thought was 'poor Jack, they'll have to cull his parrot'.
Or maybe the scriptwriters were being incredibly prescient? And there was us thinking it was just one of those quaint little Archers Comedy Interludes.
It has indeed been commented on (on it has been commented?) in several cubicles in here.
Also, Betty wittering on about red spider mite on the Silkies is no joke, is it!
