Dear Marms let slip that today is her birthday so
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARMS!!!
May you have a fabby day and may all the drizzles treat you like a Queen!
It is probably a bit early for drinkies but there are plenty of cauppucinos and hot chocolate and tray upon tray of danish for anyone feeling peckish.
I am just finishing putting the smarties on the choccie smartie cake and will being it along in a moment.
No candles on the cake as marms refused to tell us how many and anyway the fire brigade were concerned at the fire hazard!
Happy Birthday Marms - hope you are not out in that Anorak (sorry snowboarding coat) in this rain.
Have a good one
Gill
Lovely thought Sharpers but I thought Marms was aiming for keeping personal stuff quiet from here on in, partic on these boards? MT

Thank you MT and I do aim to keep personal stuff away. I have just looked round though and i can't see anywhere that shows a date or time of any postings so I think it will be Ok.
I'm not telling my age on here though although you are welcome to take a guess in the old place!!

Here it is Marms, Ihave just finished decorating it. I baked it in my biggest tin so as to make sure we all get a slice and can make another if this one runs out..Here, let me light the one candle I have put on it so you can blow it out and make a wish.
PS If MT is right and you did not want it public that is is your birthday then I apologise and will take a thousand cuts by way of punishment.
#6 happy birthday marms!
you're quite right, in a few weeks time no-one will be able to tell that these posts were made on the 29th of September. I do think it's alarmist of Sarah to suggest that 23 candles would constitute a fire hazard though!
Happy Birthday Marms. I think that your son should come over and join in the celebration, might entice him to come over and join us.
Haven't seen the photos yet, was Brian scarey?

Happy birthday, marms. If I had known, I would have raised a tea-and-coffee-toast on Saturday at the Meet.
Here is a fire-safe arrangement of flowerheads (the choice is yours, seasonal or unseasonal) in a shallow dish with water, with 21 mini-candles each safely set in Blu-Tak on the dish base. You have to blow them all out at a go whenever it's convenient, while wishing what you secretly wish.
Much love from Mustardland, $qxx
