A sloppy market research company with offices opposite pre-school used to collar us after dropping off littl'uns for focus groups and product trials.
I did the 'new shape' Mondeo (v. lucrative), Nytol and Dyson's washing machine.
Nytol was fun - they showed us a 'rush' of the ad showing the creature (owl? can't remember - it ran for a few years with Sandi Toksvig voiceover. You know the one) anyway the 'owl' falls asleep but doesn't wake up. Half of us envisaging missing work after sleeping through the alarm but they hadn't picked that up. I like to think I was responsible for 'Good mornings follow a good Nytol'.
Not as good as a course lecturer who once told us how she won a gold watch for coming up with 'Have a break, have a KitKat' as a competition entry.

I did Bell's Scotch once (50 quid cash for 2 days). Was a lone voice suggesting they put decent whisky glasses in pubs. They did it later, I've always maintained that it was /my/ idea.

It wasn't me! I didn't do it!
In my dreams I am an advertising genius. My greatest creation would be a headache tablet called 'Nothing'. As Anadin are so proud of announcing, 'nothing acts faster than Anadin'.
Free advertising - perfect.
