According to the front page of the R4 message boards, the number one discussion at the moment is titled 'Haunting Women'. It says something about the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s idea of conversation that this thread has precisely 1 entry.
No wonder they don't understand why we mourn the loss of threaded conversations. The idea of two or more people wanting to interact is obviously alien to them.
What, I wonder, do they mean but 'Nation shall speak unto nation'?

Sorry, I know it's bad form to reply to your own posts, but I looked again, and two of the top 5 discussions have only 1 entry, one each have 2,3 and 4 entries.
What are the criteria for making the Top 5 I wonder.

Hi, LF
I went to have a look, got totally lost and ended up on the old boards!
They haven't sorted out all the links and signposts yet, and there was nothing about top posts where I was looking!

I think that Top 5 is just for the Radio 4 boards, not the TA ones. And I think it must be the last five started or something because there was a WoM thread on it yesterday but that's fallen off now although WoM would be one of the busiest of the R4 boards.

TA is a R4 board - it's on the new page - next to a pic of John Humphrys.
Some of those still have the old h2 still open, though (not that that explains a 1 entry top conversation, of course).

Well, Lady M, TA was never a R4 board under the old system either, even though it did appear on that front page. We always had separate posting numbers, did we not?
