How soon can I put up the Christams decorations in my office?
It's so grey and dark that they'd cheer me up.
And they are sitting clearly visible on my shelves, since I never stowed their box out of sight in January.

I reckon.. if you fancy them up now.. do it.
Over here in Germany, they decorate the shops for Halloween - and their homes to some extent too (lots of orange and pumpkins) .. and then we have St. Martin's Day in this neck of the wood when children go around with lanterns, knocking on doors, singing a song and then hoping for some sweets; after that it's St. Nicholas's Day - when kids leave their boots out in front of the door and they may find sweets in them .. and they may even be threatened with a visit St. Nicholas and his helper K n e c h t R u p r e c h t. Then we have the wonderful Christmas markets. That's one of the nicest things about this country - always something to look forward to.
Apart from January.. gosh.. January's tough. I'm dreading it already.
Dean, don't you dare put up decorations yet!!! Christmas does not start until after my birthday which is 24 November and even then it's too early! (Bah! Humbug!)

all right Marigold, point taken.
At home the crib starts going up on the first Sunday in Advent, and most other things are up for my parents wedding anniversary on 17th December, but then the crib isn't complete until January 6th, and stays in place until Candlemas, and other stuff only starts coming down from January 7th.
Whereas the office things will be taken down the day I come back after Christmas.
And it really is very grey in here.
24th November - Sagittarius?
Oh no this thread has reminded him that I haven't got round to sorting out the work cards yet.
Better do that tomorrow.
I went out xmas shopping the other day and came back with lots of presents to myself.
Note to self: try harder next time.

Sagittarius yes, with a tincture of Scorpio (from the cusp)! Dare I ask if there's a coded message in here and you've copped who I am?
