Ok we all know you can easily miss a post but check out Keri's post number 110 in the thread `I'm going to take a risk.'

Should put a spring back in your step.

Andrew dear, you know I hate to be pedantic (!), but you might cheer people up more if you said their morale was to be boosted rather than their moral. "Moral boost" sounds depressingly like "moral majority", and we aren't going there. are we? Cheers. Gaye

How did the coat-hunting go? Worst kind of shopping expedition I have ever undertaken.

Hope you found what you wanted.

I thought it was time I grew up from my version of simply red which was can ned. So in homage to A G, plus a gardening connection, I've transmogrified into Artemisia.

    Hope you're well, also Teenager

    Wotcha A

A total failure as far as coat and sanity went but I got a cup of soup and an apple from Pret for lunch so that was bearable.

Jest defrosing home made chicken curry for dinner. Yum.

Does anyone know where I can get either (or both) sanity and a life? They sure as b*ggery don't seem to sell 'em the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street. Sigh.

Oh, I love buying coats almost as much as I like buying shoe and boots.

Perhaps, I should buy one, and just send it along to you?

save the strain and shop on line for your coat - you can do it with a glass of wine (or gin) and your laptop while listening to soothing music. Only danger is not having to carry it home means you sometimes overflex your flexible friend!

PS If you find the sanity shop please pass on address - mine went long since

Hi Gem, I buy most things online but other than underpinnings and nighties (and the occasional sweater) I find it is not successful with clothes.

However, being smug, I have done nearly all my Christmas shopping and all of it online. Only two presents left to buy! And whoever's stocking I have to do.
