It's just occured to me that one good thing about the new boards is that I've discovered the usefulness of the home and end keys. Reason for a drink I think.

At the end of a page of stuff you can whizz back to the top with the home key (yes I know there are a lot of you out there to whom this is just NOT news)
And you can whizz to the end of a thread with the end key, scroll back up to the last bit you read and carry on, then at the end it's home James again.
Reception class to some - to me it's like discovering Sibelius*
*The music software package - not the composer though I like him too.
Thanks Pilly,
but some of us are still in playgroup, had a very nasty moment today when I couldn't extract my shiny new removeable device that I was using for the first time, and had to improvise a tugging device with a bit of ribbon cut from a bookmark. Thought I had jammed up one of the brand new only had them since tuesday new machines at work.
I'm being logged on to my new laptop tomorrow. I will be able to lurk here wifi!
Off to play home and away, sory home and end.
'Tis clever, isn't it? Some kind soul told me about it and I've used Home/End ever since. Helps when needing to find one's way around a long discussion, but still doesn't help when I've lost track of something someone said on about page 17 of a massive thread, and have to just give up!
