    Next.

Went there yesterday to buy a plain, long sleeved round neck tshirt in a neutral colour to layer up with the magnificence that I wear on top.

Grey, blue, navy, black, white at a pinch, not beige (spit) or brown (two spits).

So on the racks they have...3 for a tenner. Bargainous!

Now comes the rub (oh do be quiet). They have my size (12) in navy and nothing else other than a vivid salmon pink which is the colour of the very devil himself.

I enquire politely why it is that they have loads and loads of size 8 and 20 and nothing else?

"I'll go and have a look"

Fine...< tap tap of the fingers and my friend has disappeared behind the bank clerk dresses that are in abundance in Next)...

    Sorree about that...we haven't.

Right! < through gritted teeth > Then I suppose being a standard size 12 I shall have to resign myself to forgoing the wondrous offer of three for a tenner and pay £6.50 for a navy-ness.

    M&S are boring and samey
Dot Perkins have disappeared from our city centre.
H&M are shoddy fabrics, even the tshirts are see through.
Monsoon expensive for some very odd styles this season.
Zara would be nice if we had one.
Supermarkets are okish for basics but they of course haven't got a size 12 long sleeved round neck etc etc etc

£6.50 still sounds like quite a good bargain, and the three for a tenner offer is only to get rid of the excess number they've got of the unusual sizes.

Next is an abomination when it comes to shopping online. My OH bought something from them once, and they sent by post (unrequested) the Next Directory, which is a vast book of all their products, and they tried to charge him for it. Words were exchanged and the directory was returned.

Why would anyone with internet access want to pay £3.75 for a huge wodge of a book to be dumped in their lap?
