....just got worser.
Beautiful Mustardland of the Silv鈥檙y screen!
Alas! I am very sorry I've seen
That thirteen years fun have never been
From the last Monday of February 2013,
Which will be remember鈥檇 for a very long time.
鈥橳was about eleven o鈥檆lock of morn,
Our lives asunder would be torn,
In The Bull appeared a sticky,
At first we thought they took the Mickey,
But said the Editor of Interactivity-
鈥淚鈥檒l cast this board into oblivity.鈥
And in the Early Thread that day
The posters鈥 hearts were light and they felt gay,
But Nigel bowled a googly ball,
And soon their spirits down would fall,
And many of the posters with fear did say-
鈥淚 hope Keri will our execution stay.鈥
And when the news came Holme Valley way,
Slightly-Foxed did a petition lay,
Directed to the Culture Secretary
In the ante-penultimate week of February 2013,
Which will be remember鈥檇 for a very long time.
So the talk went on it to the night,
And those abroad soon hove in sight,
And Mustardlanders joined the fight,
Hoping they would enjoy themselves for another year,
With their friends on screen they lov鈥檇 most dear,
And wished them all be of good cheer.
So the board Aunty wished to slay,
To the posters' great dismay,
Was opened suddenly one day,
To shouty hordes who did not play,
In the friendly Mustard way,
And now nine topics have been taken away,
On the last Monday in February 2013,
Which will be remember鈥檇 for a very long time.
As soon as the catastrophe came to be known
The alarm from thread to thread was blown,
And the posts cried out from all around,
Good Heavens! Mustardland is shutting down,
A messageboard with no tomorrow,
Which fill鈥檇 all the posters' hearts with sorrow,
And made them for to turn glum,
Because none of the posters were allowed to post 鈥渂um!鈥
How the disaster happen鈥檇 on the last Monday of February 2013,
Which will be remember鈥檇 for a very long time.
It truly was an awful sight,
To witness, in some, sheer delight,
At the upset of the many; so very mean,
Farewell Mustardland of the Silv鈥檙y screen,
Oh! Lamented ML of the Silv鈥檙y screen,
I must now conclude my lay
By telling Aunty Beeb without the least dismay,
That your mission statement's gone astray,
At least many sensible people say,
Had they been supported, like in the Village Hall,
That fewer people would then fall,
For the stronger we our communities build,
The less chance we have of being killed.

Goodbye Mustardlanders everywhere. It has been a wonderful experience to have met you all, whether cyberly or in the flesh. Just remember one thing:
I'm a good boy, I am!
