This is going to sound really daft, but can someone please tell my husband that the house and garden in Gardening Year does not belong to Alan Titchmarsh. He just will not believe me and it is infuriating me. Thanks Deb.
Dear your husband. the house in the programme does not belong to AT.He said last night referring to the grasses he moved."the owners put these here, but I'm going to move them".
Anyway he lives in Hampshire in a more secluded garden, on a hill, well it's hilly out the back of his garden, from what I remember when he presented GW from his back garden....
that enough?
Thanks for your reply, sadly he still does not believe. I pointed out that bit when alan said about the grasses, but he says by saying the owner of the house put them there, he is referring to his wife!!!! I just give up.
Hi! Your husband is totally wrong. Alan used to live in a house that was on a sloping area. He has since moved from there, and he did used to be on G.W. from there, before he left G.W. to do other things. His wife does not garden at all. Not her scene. That has been said by Alan in one of his books. The garden he is in at present is one that he did himself for the owners some time ago. Does this help any more?
I have a husband like that, just take no notice. that is what I do
Alans new garden has not yet been on tv...and I don't think it will for a long time. Its much bigger than the one on GY and full of topairy by the sound of it....
