I have lots of evergreen leaves still on my foxgloves that are starting to look a bit black. Should I cut these back and if so by how much or should I just leave them alone and let them do their own thing.
You can remove any leaves that are looking nasty, or just leave them - they'll just lie on the ground and rot eventually. I usually leave mine on until there's plenty of new growth.
