  I loved Christine's programmes -they were a fascinationg insight into the extarordinary life of an ordinary -yet extraordinary- lady who clearly knows her stuff and gave us a welcome winter snapshot of her gardening life. When other gardening progs are in hibernation, this was a delight. I loved Reg!! Programmes like his which reflect our British people and way of life are cheery and just there to be enjoyed.

  Sorry - lets hope not.
  We saw very little of Christines garden and what she grew and her methods. There was virtually no garden advice to the more experienced or the new gardener.
  It was all about Christine and her personality and neighbours and how financially unrewarding her chosen occupation turned out to be.
  Unfortunately the Beeb let us all down with an inappropriate title.

  I agree that the title of the programme was very misleading but I did enjoy the series nevertheless. I think the name should be changed if she gets a second series to avoid confusion as some people seemed to think it would be a ' how to' program when clearly it is not.

  I too enjoyed Christine,s programme, unfortunatly I missed thr last episode, I hope they repeat it sometime in the future
