    Hi Flora

You will probably have read some of the sometimes contraversial feedback regarding the special guest visit by now. In being busy criticising the special guest set-up I think we may have overlooked thanking you for the hard-work you put in overseeing it.

Any chance that next-time we can have Chris Beardshaw and not tell the whole world in advance? There are a few questions I'd like to ask him.

Anyway Flora - you are appreciated.

    Rhoda

I'll second that, Rhoda (although I did say thank you on the night).

Bob Flowerdew would be my choice of future guest, if that were possible.

Hi Rhoda. I must say I was a bit disappointed in Christine's response to the great hebe question. Never mind, I guess that means she doesn't get the job.

Yes, I'd love to see Bob Flowerdew as a future guest. Or CB or Roy Lancaster. Anyone with a sense of humour would be good...

Yes - I had rather hoped to start something like that Australian show where they made all the invited guests sing a version of 'Stairway to Heaven'. Some of the versions were really very good from what I remember - even Rolf Harris's. Eventually an LP was produced with all the versions on it. Marvellous.

Dan Pearson really inspired me when I first started gardening - there was a TV show where he "made-over" (but not in a gimmicky way) various small gardens. It was the first time I realised you didn't have to stick with a lawn with borders down the side! smiley - laugh He might be a bit lacking on the GSOH front though - he was a bit out of sorts at Chelsea when he didn't get gold as I remember.
