I want to grow a small hedge, 50-70cm high, 500cm length, 40-50cm wide, evergreen with flowers and berries, along a path, partial shade and sunlight. What would be the best to get? when would be the best time to plant? Should I start preparing soil well in advance?
Any ideas and help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
You'll get more answers if you post thios on the Clinic board, not the TV board. I should have thought holly would do the trick but you should be planting now in well prepared soil for it to get its roots established before the heat and dry of summer. Otherwise it will need regular watering to survive the warmer weather.
