I think I've probably had way to much coffee today! so feel free to burst my bubble but why can't we have a few of the arty tv moments that didn't work on GW. There has to be a fair few of those over the years!!!! A nice antidote to the cold weather and a good way to get the old chuckle muscles moving??? smiley - laugh

    Hi
Ive seen some out takes of GW on the telly, but can't remember which channel they were on. One I think showed monty supposed to be digging over soil but he kept falling over.Another was CB showing different types of mushrooms. He could not say shiitake mushroom properly and kept saying sh--ty mushroom.
Have to ask FLORA if she can get the beeb to show little vid clips on the main page while we all wait for some sunshine.
    regards
    lance

Its strange that you bring this up around now, if you buy the April issue of Gardeners World Magazine out on March 1st,
(bit earlier to subscribers) there will be a DVD inclosed containing outtakes and bloopers and info of how the programme is made.

scroll down the page a bit. smiley - magic

Hi all, just read yesterday about the DVD and looking forward to it - think I will watch it on a Friday night! Thing is, will it have the outtakes mentioned above (and another I saw with CB getting stressed over poor roots for cuttings, well, as stressed as he ever seems to be) or just the "polite" ones? I guess we will have to wait and see. Then again, with all the earth warming, I think my April will probably arrive about the end of Feb, so hope to see soon! hifi

Hi to Annelieseje in Belgium - sorry to put you with the Oranjes - I've seen far more of Holland and only travelled through your country. Where abouts are you without giving too much away? What's you garden like?

    Hi 1stClassAlan,

You will be happy to know I've received my March issue of GW yesterday!

I'm in EastFlanders, right in the middle between Brussels and Ghent. (but for work I'm also a lot with our Orange Neighbours, this week I was in The Hague and Amstelveen).

Some of my pictures of the garden, and the disasters that happened to it, are on Obelixx's gallery.

    Have a nice weekend!
    Anneliese

Thanks for the info. Will look forward to that but am already back out in the garden despite the snow, sleet and rain we've had down in Kent.Sorry Its taken me a while to reply but I must pick the worst times to try to get on to the board as I either get site not responding or chucked off just before I post a message.smiley - sadface Its strange that you bring this up around now, if you buy the April issue of Gardeners World Magazine out on March 1st,
