I can't remember a year when the Daffodils have pushed through and remained yellow for so long - Ah! Tis an Omen!!!
Or may be it's because the bulb ( mine are well deep ) grows from internal clock and soil temperature while the shoot up in the cooler air cannot synthesize chlorophyll that quick?
Any plant scientists out there?
Just learning about all this at the moment, Alan! Ask me in July (preferably after 4th, which is my exam!)
