I am just so mad that i had to have a rant about the fact that the beeb has decimated the superb array of gardening that we once had on a friday night.
They decided to see off channel 4's shows but because their is no competition anymore we get the same repeats if anything at all.
I can't think of a more culturally diverse, wide ranging and appreciative audience than gardeners so what are the schedulers, producers and commisioners playing at.
The irony is that when GW and other shows are on, many of us are too busy in the garden after work on the long barmy summers evenings, to watch the shows!
I really hope that other tv channels take on the beeb because they would certainly gain the support of many people who frequent on these boards.
GET IT SORTED!!!!

If you are "barking" mad, comicDogtur*, and yap so much (as per your posts record) they won't let you into Crufts, which is on this coming week instead of the gardening programmes. What a surprise.
I, too, get annoyed and think it is "barmy" the way gardening programmes are arbitrarily axed in favour of the new god/religion of sport, or minority things like dog shows. Thank heavens the balmy evenings we all long for will soon be here in a couple of months.
