Hi,
I recently watched the allotment programme and would like to grow some of the Secale Cereale (Rye Grass) but where can i buy some seed? I have had no luck in finding any in the UK.
Cheers
Mark

Winter rye - Secale cereale - is not a grass it is an agricultural cereal crop grown for seed production to produce rye bread, ryvita etc and for use as animal feed.
Most agricultural seed merchants should sell it but probably not in bags less than 1 cwt.
