Help. This is probably such an amateur question but I am an amateur! I planted some tomato seeds which have grown indoors into quite nice seedlings now about 3 inches tall. I purchased one of those plastic growhouses to put them in, on a sunny wall. After a couple of days, the leaves of the seedlings have started turning white .... what's the problem with them? I have now brought them back indoors, panicking that I was killing them off - too hot? too cold at night? Any tips will be welcome!
I'm wondering if the leaves got scorched by too much sun. In Kent, we have had unbelievably hot weather over the past week and I've certainly had to keep a watchful eye on plants in my greenhouse.
Is there a mildew on the leaves or have the leaves just lost their colour
could have got burnt also what size are they and what size pot are they in i just checked mine today and had to repot them in to a bigger pot as they soon grow

Re my whitening tomato leaves: thanks for the replies. We are in E. Sussex and it was also very warm here so perhaps it was too much sun. What do I do? Will they be alright? I don't want to pot them on just yet if they are suffering from heatstroke!
is it all the leaves or just a few? some of mine the smaller leaves went white but i just removed them
