I missed the Gardner's world on Friday evening!
I was watching the world cup.Talking to my neighbour this morning she mentioned the frames and being that I grow Delphiniums I was very interested. How handy ´óÏó´«Ã½ Iplayer saw the entire show I must have this frame Carol Klein demonstrated. I thought the whole show was very well presented. It was a pleasure to watch.
The only problem I find is that however good the idea whenever its for "gardening use" is easily 3 or 4 times the manufacturing cost of the item. I know there is a "profit margin" and "design fees" to consider but most items are a complete rip off. I don't know the reason, poor competition or they think gardeners are an easy touch. The item you mention is a length of coiled stainless steel rod/wire sitting in a central pivot. I would be interested to see the cost when you track it down. Material & manufacturing costs would be less than £5 I think, see what the market price is!!!
Found this for you
not bad for a set of 4 but then there's postage on top.

Agree- although am sure the ones CK were showing in GWL were stainless steel- although I may have been having a senior moment.
