Finally Carol Klein has her own show. Hurrah..
Yes indeed! but what a pity the series is nearly at an end. They really ought to be listening to viewers. But at least we can look foward to seeing Monty back, and hopefully more of Carol. Hope to see Titch soon too.

What about another series?
After filming for a whole year, there must be enough unused material for another six episodes at least.

I do so agree.
Perhaps it could be entitled "Carol Klein Uncut". (??)
From my own feelings, I think Carol is a fine example of how folk will come around if programmers stick with it long enough - I used to detest Ms. Klien's gushing presentation - I'm all for enthusiasm hers was such that it interferred with the delivery, words slurred and points contradicted. I forgave her fashion sense and her hair colour.
Now, I quite look forward to seeing her like popping round to see an old eccentric friend as most of my friends are - and though I still find myself totting up the inaccuracies or lack of dexterity when demonstrating ( Delia had someone who could chop vegetables do them for her !) in every programme - I am completely won over, this particularly as I can easily imagine her being exactly the same when the cameras are not there which could not be said, I think, about the lovely Ms. De Thame.
I do have to take issue with the fact that Carol never seems to have any decent tools at home despite her ´óÏó´«Ã½ disturbance fees!
I'll have to have a go at one little thing that crept into her lines concerning planting seeds on a waxing moon - all moonshine, of course, as the only thing that changes during the month is the amount of light reflected from the moon - it's still there even when we can't see it so the effects ( whatever they are or aren't ) remain the same.
Re-run of CK's Life in a Cottage Gardem on 5-30pm on ´óÏó´«Ã½ HD till next Tuesday.
Just a minor correction Alan - what changes with the moon, other than moonshine, are the tides. It is believed that the moon has the same effect on ground water, pulling it to the surface as it reaches full moon and thus makes it a preferable planting time.
If the theory is right, it isn't the whole waxing period, it's the waxing gibbous moon (between first quarter and full moon) and the waning gibbous moon (between third quarter and new moon) as this is when the water levels should be rising, if my recollection of tidal moon/sun relationships is right.
