Whilst it was nice to see Monty Don back at work the format of the programme was rubbish. What was wrong with Tony Buckland with Alys. Very enjoyable programme doing the jobs we all need to know about.

Totally agree. I have invested two years in Toby and Alys. I want to know how Greenacres is doing after the Winter, and how the new trees are doing. I want to see Toby and Jo having a laugh. I want to see Alys and the dog. I don`t want some one showing me box trees he planted twenty years ago.
    Come on ´óÏó´«Ã½ buck up.

In agreement with messages 1 & 2, much as I am pleased that Monty has returned to good health, bring back Toby. His presentation of Gardeners World was much more informative and having been a viewer for the last few years, it was a programme I never missed.
I even turned this weeks programme off - who wants to see Montys big garden that is nothing like my own garden and that of millions of others! Having spoken to other gardening friends we are all in agreement, so unfortunatly you have lost a few of your most loyal fans.

Montys garden IS like thousands of others around the country. Simply put, it contains plants and requires maintenance.
If you could just think outside the box for a moment, the trick is to look at what you can take from the programme and then apply it to your own situation ie, plant division (as an example from Friday)
I believe it`s called imagination. You might want to try it !

Its hard to imagine anything when you are being comatised by Monty and his world of boxed hedges.

As for Toby well was there ever a more imaganitive GW presenter then him.
