. . . gardening? It is first on at 3 p.m. on Friday and repeated on Sunday 2 p.m. Whenever the weather is suitable for gardening I am in my garden, or on my allotment, or sometimes enjoying a cycle ride, but I am NOT sitting around inside,
Yes I know I can get it on i-player but I'm not that fanatical!
It just seems a bit silly to have BOTH broadcasts at a time when most gardeners are busy elsewhere.
(Am I its only listener?)

I know exactly what you mean. I'm usually working on Friday afternoon and if I arrange to have Friday off the day is filled with other activities away from the house. Sunday is packed full of activity as well (cycling with friends come rain or shine is an absolute must). Are you a road cyclist or mountain biker? I mountain bike as I am very fortunate to live in an area of Hertfordshire where there are lots of bridleways and off road tracks.

What, no radio on in the potting shed?
It's also available to download as a podcast, my usual method of listening to GQT at bedtime.

Afraid not. I live in a house of noise - computer games, music, radio, TV and films with surround sound, phones, instruments so when I can steel some precious gardening time to myself its done in silence save for birdsong, the rustling of trees or the distant drone of a neighbouring mower - bliss.
Perhaps I should download GQT as a podcast to listen to on long car journeys?

I listen in the garden on Sunday afternoon I also, always set the tv to record it, so I can listen again if I miss a bit - can't do without Bob Flowerdew and Chris Beardshaw

No radio in the shed or garden for me either. No ipod or anything else . I'm slightly abashed to say that I am generally quite content with my own company, whoever happens to be working with me and the bird/wildlife.

I do have a small tranny in the shed/garden with me. Dont like head phones as want to hear the birds etc around me.
What i find difficult to adjust to is the change of day! For years GQT was on a Wed afternoon, the repeat of the sundays I think. For years had Wed as my day off, so always listened to it then. Even now I try & avoid working Wed! J.
