Good afternoon to each,my Brussel Sprouts are looking great but 1 question i would like to ask,can i take all of the lower leaves off and just leave the top ones on so as to open up the stalks and leave the sprouts more room to sunlight,as this is my 1st year of growing them i`m not sure of what to do.kind regards Chris
You will probably find this happens naturally as the sprout swells in the leaf axil it forces the leaf off.
It is best to lift these fallen leaves before they rot and harbour slugs & snails beneath.
So basically the answer is........leave it to nature!
Thank you Tee Gee thats what i will do i might even pick a few for lunch, kind regards Chris
