I think that knowing how to work with the weather is the best tool in the box....sow to soon you get a late frost.....water after a dry spell it rains for days and so on....

I'm 32 and I've only had a allotment for (5 or is it 6) years, before that I used to garden with my Dad and I have always been into fishing so follow the weather anyway as best as I can, but this year has got me looking out the window into the sky more than ever.

    What do you lot think...?

I After I took up gliding the meteorological bug bit. This was a facet of gliding I really enjoyed more than any other. There are tons of books on the subject from a "Janet and John" to in depth Global aspects.

I should take a trip to your local library, start simply toi get a good grounding and away you go. I do miss the B.B.C. showing a synoptic chart. Cheers, Tony
