Does anyone know how to grow wormwood??
ineed of help
It likes a well drained sunny spot. You could add some grit and sharp sand, which wouldn't hurt. Are you intending to buy plants, or try to grow from seed? Bagsies the first bottle of Absinthe!
It grows native around here, S Yorkshire, seems to like an open sunny spot on any disused land. Fully hardy.
what would you suggest is best? to grow from seed or cutting?
adsenthe is alot harder toi make than you think lol.
the real stuff that is lol.

Looks like someone googled wormwood "Thesassenach" in the past or has attempted to make some home brew lol.
Well, I`ve never cultivated wormwood with it being wild round these parts, but personally I`d grow it from seed, because you can start the seeds off this spring.
If the seeds failed I would then try a cutting in mid-late summer. That way I`d get two attempts in the same year.
(Piece of useless information now) Apparently Wormwood Scrubs was named so after all the wormwood growing naturally in the area.
