wonder if anyone can help me..i have got growing marigolds, cosmos, and other half hardy annuals which i have grown from seed on my window seals indoors and i have bought a plastic greenhouse unheated and as i have thined them out and have no more room inside i have had to put some trays out in the greenhouse will they be okay as long as we dont have a frost?
It is always tricky this time or year-they should be ok but the cold nights outside in a plastic greenhouse will not help them -it is a sudden shock and drop in temperature-the nights are still cold.
To protect them cover them with sheets of newspaper at night and take off in the morning
You have really started sowing about a month too early to get them to the stage they are in now-now is probably the earliest you should start sowing-they catch up and you have not gained any advantage by starting so early.
Oh and protect from slugs
Good luck anyway
