Hi All.Can I grow peas and broad beans in the same plot as last year if I give the grown a good feed of manure.I don't want to have to move my pea poles and netting construction.
Many thanks 306James
Hi 306
I have grown peas and french beans in the same spot for the last 2 years without any problems. I think that in an ideal world we should all practise crop rotation but if like me you have limited space then its not always possible.
I am working to the idea that as long as I haven't had any pest/disease problems then I will continue until I do. I will feed the soil annually and keep going. I only have room for a couple of pole structures for peas and a couple for beans so I haven't the luxury of being able to move things at will.
Hope this helps

Many thanks for your reply.
