Automata exhibition in Bridport Bridport Arts Centre has brought together the best of British automata makers to give kids in Dorset ‘A Piece of the Action’. More than twenty artists have been given free rein to express their ingenuity, engineering skills and artistic ability in a show created especially for Bridport Arts Centre. Make a Moving Toy Workshops and Automata Guided Tour is on Thursday 5 April. The exhibition is closed on Easter Sunday and Monday. Egg hunting in Compton Acres Compton Acres will host its annual Easter Egg hunt on Good Friday, between 10.30am and 2.30pm.

On Easter Saturday and Sunday, four Bournemouth College students will turn Compton Acres into an Easter paradise, complete with a treasure hunt and egg decorating activities. Wonderland fun at Lulworth Castle Lulworth Castle is also hosting an Easter Egg hunt over the Easter weekend. There will be lots of fun activities with Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. Visitors to the castle will also have a chance to make new friends in the Animal Farm. They'll perhaps even catch the Easter bunny… Sports activities in Dorchester The Thomas Hardye Leisure Centre in Dorchester is offering children’s Easter holiday activities from 2 to 5 April and 10 to 13 April. Activities include an Easter Craft Workshop, Have a Go Gymnastics, trampolining and cycle training. For children who want to try a bit of everything, the Leisure Centre’s Day Camp offers an action packed day of football, relays, arts and crafts, basketball and swimming.Ìý |
