Series 3 - Episode 4

"Why is everyone complaining about Hustle?"
|
"Why is everyone complaining about Hustle? Can they not see that it has to be one of the best programmes on television?
The plots are always well thought-out and very detailed, and you actually find yourself predicting the ending. Obviously a lot of effort has been put into the making of Hustle, so why are so many people criticising petty things? Do they really think they could make this programme any better?"
Isabel, Birmingham
"Brilliant. This series has continued to impress. No let up in the writing at all. Different sides of the dream were shown in this episode."
Rajesh Camadoo, St Albans
"I've never seen Hustle before, but it is one of the best dramas the 大象传媒 has ever broadcast. The wit, charm and lifelike characters made excellent viewing for my Friday night."
Dilys, London
"Good thinking by Mickey, it was a nice try to do a double con. I just goes to show how difficult it really is to pull off, even with a man who has lost his memory."
Christian, Liverpool
"The Bollywood dance routine towards the end was one of the funniest scenes I've seen in ages."
|
"The Bollywood style song and dance routine towards the end was one of the best and funniest scenes I've seen in ages.
The whole programme was enjoyable, especially seeing how someone can change their life around after an accident. Even the team had a change of heart seeing the man change.
What I like about Hustle is the way the actors can look into the camera and give a little smile or wink when they manage to pull something off. This gives the show a personal touch."
Lee Booth, Bolton
"Being Asian and a big Bollywood fan I thoroughly enjoyed the episode and thought that the way Bollywood was shown wasn't too far from the truth.
The costumes were amazing and the gang always leave me at the edge of my seat trying to guess what they might do next."
Jag, Leamington Spa
"Absolutely marvellous. One of the best pieces of TV drama I've seen in a long time. The Bollywood dance sequence was funny. The transformation of the "mark" was touching and, throughout, the acting and production were faultless."
Gamblinman, York
"Another fabulous episode, entertaining with both serious storylines and some hilarious comments to balance.
"Where has them being one step ahead disappeared to?"
|
The third series so far has been fantastic in its character development (nice touch with Danny's gardening), and all the episodes have been refreshing. However I would have preferred these episodes to be integrated throughout the series. I only hope the team get back to what they do best within the next episodes. Where has them being one step ahead disappeared to?
However, I'm still a devoted fan and holding out hope for the Hustle team to work up to a great series finale in a couple of episodes time."
Michelle, Devon
"What a fantastic episode. Every character proved their worth, Stacie with her beautiful body, Albert's ability to think on the spot, Mickey's well played laid-back role, Ash fixing the set, twice... But particular credit in my opinion has to go to Danny Blue who kept the humour that we all love in the show.
How good of the team not to con someone who deserved it at first but then came to his senses. They haven't had much luck this series but they have made it by being good Samaritans in this episode, with a plant worth 拢30k."
Tom Coulson, Manchester
"A really clever episode - I liked the way the grifters were conned themselves. It was unpredictable, and had a interesting but an exciting twist at the end. 10/10"
Melissa Mac, Northampton
"This cannot be the same gang that stole the Crown Jewels."
|
"I'm sorry, what?
Have we completely lost touch with series 2 Hustle? This cannot be the same gang that stole the Crown Jewels. It can't be. They wouldn't survive now. I hope they come out on top next time - that's the most enjoyable thing about Hustle to me, seeing how they pulled it off."
Emma, Nottingham
"The dance scene was so funny. I love the way that they always have some money in the end, in this case Danny's plant!"
Lauren, Wolverhampton
"What is different about series 3? The cons no longer have the twists they had in series 1 and 2. You can work out 99% of the con yourself, without the need to explain the plot at the end with the audience left thinking "so that's how it all worked - clever".
Please can we have more episodes in the old style? The acting remains really great but now it seems more comical than anything else."
Carol, Norwich
"What a load of rubbish. What a waste of time. I gave them the benefit of doubt and carried on watching the series after the appalling Episode 1, but the quality has declined. Storylines are way too far fetched and need a lot of refining. Some like muscovado, I like demerara."
Fazal, London, UK
"It was worth watching for the fun we had dancing around the living room."
|
"There are always a few moments during Hustle that have me staring at the screen, completely unaware of the world. This episode, with the Bollywood theme, was an excellent show. It was worth watching for the fun we had dancing around the living room."
Emma, Kent
"This series of Hustle has been as excellent as the first two. The double double bluff thing was genius, and the ending was hilarious."
Rebecca Dennis, Essex
"This episode was absolutely fantastic. It mixed two cultures extremely well. Mickey Stone had elegance and poise as he was comfortably seated in the director's chair."
Nilesh, Leicester
"This was the funniest episode ever. Loved it when Danny was holding the giant leaf in the Indian dance. Brilliant storyline as always."
Lydia J, Bedfordshire
"I thoroughly enjoyed Adrian Lester gyrating those hips of his!"
|
"This episode was the usual slightly unbelievable plot but great entertainment. I thought the best scene was the Bollywood dance sequence - I thoroughly enjoyed Adrian Lester gyrating those hips of his!
Great fun - I'll miss Hustle when this run ends."
Tisha Nevins, London
"Great episode, probably the most entertaining so far this series. Amazing movie making scene with great outfits and performance from the actors. I hope to see more of this type of talent in the remaining two episodes of this series."
Dianne, UK
"What happened? I was waiting for something to happen. Where was the team's plot twisting con? What a shame. Hopefully the next episode will return the drama to its former glory."
Sarah, Leeds
"We loved this well written episode and thought it had everything. Apart from the spectacular ending it had humour, emotion and a con with a clever twist. A wonderful hour of escapism and entertainment."
The Rensink family, Colchester
"I loved Danny's impersonation of Brad Pitt."
|
"What a great episode, full of laughs. I loved Danny's impersonation of *, especially because Alice actually believed it. The ending also made me laugh a lot, and I have realised that Danny seems to be the one who makes the money for the gang when the cons go wrong. There's obviously more to him than we thought. Like Albert said in series 1 he's got grift sense."
Aimee, Kent
"What's going on? While still entertaining, the Hustle team have failed to con anyone in their last two attempts. Episode 1 has been the only proper con in this series.
It seems the writers are running out of ideas for cons to pull. Do I have to write something? I have loads of cons for the team. Hope the actual con format is back next week."
M Mahon, West Bromwich
"Please don't tell me that we will have another disappointment like we did with this episode. It was boring and it looked like the programme makers were running out of ideas.
I know Hustle is better than this abysmal effort. Please do not let us fans down again."
Adrian, Stevenage
"I really enjoyed this episode, and the fact that the cons were 'conned' themselves was utter brilliance."
Gareth, UK
"Not only was it glitzy, brilliantly acted and witty, but this also had a twist which kept me hooked for the rest of the episode. Watching the mark turn into a good guy was brilliant. The highlight of the episode had to be the Bollywood scene, although Danny's hat was somewhat questionable..."
Natalie, Bromley
