Caroline's early television credits include Anna Karenina (1977), Wuthering Heights (1978), and the Play for Today's The Flipside of Dominick Hide (1980) and Another Flip For Dominick (1982).
She starred as Penelope Douglas in the 1990 series Chancer, which also starred Clive Owen. She later played auctioneer Charlotte Cavendish in two series of Lovejoy, with Ian McShane, between 1993 and 1994. Caroline also appeared in The Good Sex Guide in the mid-1990s.
Caroline's also made guest appearances in Minder, Boon, Peak Practice and Heartbeat.
More recently she's played Lady Anne Camoynes in two Sharpe stories, Kate Cameron in the comedy Brotherly Love, and Georgina Channing in Judge John Deed.
Away from acting, she co-presented Clive James' end of year review, back in 1994.
Her hobbies include rowing, running, swimming, and tennis.
The daughter of a baronet, she was born on 10 January 1958, in London.
