About this film

This is our entirely student written and produced adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, filmed in authentic locations in Northamptonshire. Although we haven't used Shakespeare's verse we have created an original, more visual, interpretation of the most famous love story of all time.

It was very good. Very interesting and sad but also quite happy because the actors often looked quite happy which they showed well. It made the audience feel happy as well.

I think the acting was quite good but I do think the play could have been better in places. It was a bit cheesy and tacky I don't think it should win but it was all right.

I thought that this film was an excellent adaption of the original play of Romeo and Juliet. It displayed the bitter saddness of the tragedy, but also the romance shared between the two lovers in a very emotional, touching way. The scenery was appropriate to the story, and so was the music. I think that this portrayed the love of Romeo and Juliet, and the tragic parting of the lovers very well.
