"Now that your Father is home"

By Salesian College, Farnborough, teacher Mrs Yeside Linney

Featuring Alexander as Hamlet, Danial as Gertrude, Daniel as Polonius/Hamlet's father.

Watch "Now that your Father is home"

About this film

This film is a result of a class improvisation work done on Hamlet where the boys explored how Gertrude was being a typical mother feeling helpless about how to deal with her son.

It is deliberately shot in uniform as the focus is on the anxieties and the words. The boys also wanted to show Hamlet's inability to behave rationally as he is consumed with disgust at his mother's actions in marrying his uncle and his dedication to his real father.

Best so far the guy that dies is the best actor ever!

Kathryn Harrop
You didn't know who was who but the acting was serious and quite good.

Nichola Gomez
In my opinion this was pointless and BORING.

Haylz
That didn't make a blind deal of sense to me. I thought the death was pathetic and there was no blood, although the lads were quite fine. lol!..x

Rory Coe
Rubbish!

I liked this one - the eerie wind sound in the background added great effect!

Johnny Fisher
That was very confusing and the sound was bad.

Dave
