Dormant retail units in Chelmsford are becoming art galleries as the town bids to draw in more shoppers. Work by Tracey Jennings on display The 'ART in Shops' will see vacant spaces feature the work of a number of local artists. A variety of different arts forms, from glass-based media to commercial illustration and textured acrylic techniques will be on display. The exhibition is a collaboration between the High Chelmer shopping centre and Chelmsford Borough Council's Arts Development team.
