About Kjartan Poskitt
Kjartan Poskitt is a freelance everything. Since getting his engineering degree he's worked as a TV presenter, has written many theatre shows and played a lot of pub pianos very loudly! His books include Isaac Newton and his Apple and the ingenious Warp Maze illustrated by cartoonist Stephen Appleby. His notorious Killer Puzzles series and books on magic tricks and secret codes have made him a firm favourite with 'brains' of all ages! Kjartan has also written six support books for the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Schools series Megamaths and in recent years he's also written the novels Urgum The Axeman, Urgum and the Seat of Flames and Urgum and the Googoobah which was shortlisted for the first Roald Dahl Funny prize in 2008. Now his internationally renowned Murderous Maths book series has inspired Kjartan to tour a show full of mathematical tricks and oddities.
