Concert Information
Children will see, hear and feel the thrill of the whole orchestra and have a chance to join in with the songs. Help Sean find his missing trumpet and get to know the instruments of the orchestra along the way.
Sean will present bilingually in English and British Sign Language and will teach children some songs in BSL.
There are lesson plans, listening and watching guides on the 大象传媒 Teach website to accompany the concert and the television series. You will be able to use these resources to extend the musical learning, as well as wider curriculum connections, back in the classroom after the performance.
The live stage show is suitable for children in Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2, but reception classes are also very welcome.
OUR MUSICAL STORIES ARE:
Jack and the Beanstalk (featuring harp, violin, piccolo and double bass)
Hare and Tortoise (featuring clarinet, bassoon and cello)
The Enormous Turnip (featuring horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba)
This show is for School groups and home educators, Suitable age range: KS1 to Lower KS2 (4-7 approx.)

The performances will include British Sign Language interpretation (in addition to Sean鈥檚 BSL presentation). The Interpreter will be positioned on the right-hand side of the stage (if you are facing the stage).
