Concert Information
It's Red Noses at the ready as the conductor, comedian, actor and writer Rainer Hersch brings musical mayhem to Friday Night Is Music Night. As we prepare for this year's Comic Relief appeal - Rainer sets out to prove that classical music doesn't have to be serious.
Tonight's programme will feature the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra and the London Voices with Rainer's own take on Pachelbel's Canon, the William Tell Overture; Leroy Anderson's The Typewriter and Leopold Mozart's Concerto for Hosepipe and String.
Ken Bruce will be on hand as master of ceremonies.
Tickets will be allocated by random draw. You can register at any time until 10pm on Tuesday 21 February. You can apply for a maximum of two tickets. Admission to this recording is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
