This new work, conceived specifically for the Old Fruitmarket and inspired by the 1980s punk sub-genre D-beat, will literally place the audience at the heart of the performance. Ilan Volkov conducts from the centre of the venue with the audience grouped around him as, from the Old Fruitmarket balcony, the 大象传媒 SSO perform Richard Youngs鈥檚 first ever orchestral work, with the composer himself on electric guitar.
