Reunited

Formed in 1993 in the home of SXSW; three albums, five EPs and a break up in 2001, At the Drive-In reunited in January 2012. They have played Coachella and Lollapalooza and are flying back via Oz and Japan for gigs and then, lucky for us, Reading and Leeds. Omar admits it’s purely a "nostalgia thing" so don’t get your hopes up for a new album.

The last album before break up was Relationship of Command, ‘one of the most vital albums of the first decade of this millennium’ according to NME, and ‘one of the most important rock records of all time’ to Kerrang! It set the bar for every post-hardcore record since. When asked if they plan to get back together, Omar said ‘do you want to get back together with your first girlfriend?... I just shudder at the thought.’ This should be a moment to remember!
