The 大象传媒 Philharmonic visits Vienna鈥檚 Konzarthaus for the eighth concert of its tour of Europe. The evening is framed by two 19th-centry works: Rossini鈥檚 Silken Ladder Overture and Mendelssohn鈥檚 Third Symphony, the Scottish. At the heart of the programme are two technically astounding percussion concertos performed by 鈥榳izard of percussion鈥� Martin Grubinger. Many of this evening鈥檚 audience will know Austrian composer Bruno Hartl as percussionist with Austria鈥檚 best loved orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic.
