This concert looks to the past, celebrates the present and contemplates the future, with a programme that reflects the 大象传媒 Philharmonic's relationships old and new.

In 2005, we released our recordings of Beethoven鈥檚 nine symphonies as free downloads and, within a week, Beethoven became the most downloaded artist in the UK. We celebrate Beethoven鈥檚 enduring popularity in this concert with his epic Ninth Symphony.

We also continue to champion rarely performed and newly written music. Hear Ruth Gipps鈥檚 Chanticleer overture and a brand-new piece by Erland Cooper in tribute to Peter Maxwell Davies鈥檚 long and close association with the 大象传媒 Philharmonic.
