Believe the hype

All female quarter Savages burst onto the scene in January 2012 following a head-turning support slot for British Sea Power where they wowed critics with their powerful rifftastic post-punk sound, sparking nostalgic trips for fans of Siouxsie and the Banshees and Public Image Ltd .

Their slot on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Introducing stage at Hackney Weekend last June gave another glimpse of what an exciting and exceptionally cool live band they are, notably their intense rendition of Husbands.

2013 has been equally full throttle for Savages. They were nominated in the ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Sound Of... poll and then released their debut album Silence Yourself, complete with suitably moody, artistic front cover to wave after wave of positive reviews. Expect the tent to be rammed.
