´óÏó´«Ã½ Proms in the Park returns to the Titanic Slipway in Belfast on Saturday, September 7, 2013 as local audiences join the UK-wide celebrations of the world famous Last Night of the Proms.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Proms in the Park in Northern Ireland is now in its 12th year. It provides outdoor music-making on a grand scale, bringing together local and international artists in ´óÏó´«Ã½ Northern Ireland’s biggest outside broadcast event of the year.

The concert at the Titanic Slipways will feature the Ulster Orchestra under the baton of conductor David Brophy and guest artists including soprano Katherine Jenkins, violinist Chloe Hanslip and Lithuanian accordion player Martynas, in a programme of classical and contemporary music.

The event will include traditional elements of the Last Night of the Proms – a big screen, great music and a party atmosphere and will be hosted by Noel Thompson and Claire McCollum.

Tickets to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Northern Ireland's Proms in the Park event are complimentary and were allocated following a random draw. The ballot is now closed.

The event is supported by Belfast City Council.
