The Proms festival isn鈥檛 just about listening to great music 鈥� it鈥檚 about bringing people together to make music, too. If you鈥檝e ever wished you could get involved in playing or singing in a group, whatever your age, instrument or experience, now鈥檚 your chance!
The Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus is open to families of all shapes and sizes (ages 7-plus); whether you鈥檙e a complete novice or an aspiring virtuoso, it鈥檚 a great way to enjoy playing music together as a family. Each workshop is led by our team of professional musicians who help you to explore the music in a fresh and exciting way.
Join Alison Walker and a team of professional musicians to create music inspired by Beethoven, Bruch and Walton that you鈥檒l hear in this afternoon鈥榮 Prom.
Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus workshops take place before Proms which have been selected with families in mind, so once you鈥檝e finished making music yourselves, you can pop over to the Royal Albert Hall, sit back and relax, and enjoy the concert.
