Connected to the future

Neo-soul five-piece The Internet consists of Odd Future vocalist Syd tha Kyd and producer Matt Martians alongside Tay Walker (keys), Patrick Paige II (bass) and Christopher Allan Smith (drums).

The band followed up on 2011’s self-produced album Purple Naked Ladies by teaming up with Chad Hugo from The Neptunes for Feel Good, released on Odd Future Records in September 2013.

Showcasing Syd’s delicate vocals alongside loping grooves and elements of experimental jazz, The Internet describe their sound as “a journey through funk and soul through the eyes of young adults trying to find their way”.
