Formed in 2011, the group consists of Lauren Mayberry (vocals), Iain Cook (synths) and Martin Doherty (synths). They rose to prominence after coming fifth in the 大象传媒鈥檚 Sound of 2013 poll, and releasing their first EP Recover the same year.
Their debut long player, The Bones of What You Believe, with it鈥檚 neon-tinged pop and catchy hooks, was met with huge commercial and critical success.
